New High School Entrance

Attention All Visitors:
Construction of the new High School entrance is complete. This entrance will be used between the hours of 7:45 am – 3:00 pm. All visitors, student pick-ups and/or drop-offs will need to enter/exit through this door. It is located directly to the right of the old school entrance doors.

Act 66 Form of 2021-2022 School Year

As required by Act 66, the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) developed and posted online a standard form (link) for parents/guardians to notify school entities of their child’s plan to remain in the school and/or current grade level for the 2021-22 school year. Visitors Coming to the Building Please Note:

New security measures have been put in to place in order to improve the security of our school.  All doors to the building will be locked immediately at the start of the school day.  All visitors will be required to make an appointment with the person you would like to meet with.
If you plan to pick your student up for an early dismissal during the school day, you are asked to call the office or send a note in with your student prior to your arrival.  Please refer to the high school student handbook under Early Dismissal for more detailed information.
All visitors will be required to have a driver's license or a photo identification with you.  The District utilizes the Raptor Visitor Management System which will require your driver's license to be scanned. 
We apologize for any inconvenience these measures may cause, however, we utilize them for the safety of all students and staff within the building.


The Apollo-Ridge Marching Band is presenting a season finale with "Bands in Review" on Friday, December 2, 2022 at 7 pm in the High School Auditorium. Click the link for more details. Proceeds will be supporting the 2023 AR Band trip to Nashville TN.

2022 Apollo-Ridge Junior/Senior Powder Puff Game

Student Council is pleased to host the annual Powder Puff game, which will take place tonight (Wednesday, November 16) at 6pm at Owens Field. Come see the Juniors and Seniors battle for bragging rights in the annual autumn classic, and enjoy a special halftime show from guys in the Junior and Senior classes. Gates open at 5:30pm. Admission is $5, and we are also accepting donations of nonperishable canned food items to give to our local food bank.

2022 Parent/Teacher Conference

2022 Parent/Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Wednesday, November 9, 2022, from 5pm - 8pm; and Thursday, November 10, 2022, from 7am - 11am.
