I have been a full time teacher for the Apollo-Ridge School District since 2002. I also studied in Poznan, Poland in the summer of 2000 through a partnership between IUP and the Adam Misckiewicz University. I was also honored to spend a few weeks in Pearl Harbor with the East Asia Pacific Institute studying Pearl Harbor with both American and Japanese teachers. Additionally, I taught graduate level coursework through Wilkes University and Learning Science International (LSI) for six years. In 2020, I was awarded the "John Katana k-12 Distinguished Educator Award" through the Pennsylvania Geographic Society.
Throughout my time teaching here at Apollo-Ridge, I have also taught Advanced Placement World History, Advanced Placement European History, Psychology, Sociology and U.S. History 9 and Honors 9.
